AJ’s Deli has been a locally owned restaurant serving the greater Elmira-Corning area since 1986. 

The deli was purchased in 2022 by AIM Healthy Living Inc., an affiliate of AIM Independent Living Center, a non-profit agency which provides a wide array of supports and services for people with disabilities.

AIM purchased the deli to use in conjunction with its Supported Employment Program, which provides job skills training, job placement services and job coaching to people with all types of disabilities.

The deli is used to provide community-based work assessments, community-based work experiences and job placements to AIM consumers, who work alongside the AJ’s Deli staff.

AJ’s Deli is proud to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
